Can the lock be used without a door handle (external) but with a latch?

Hafele RE-FIT can be used on doors without door handles because it can be used as door handle to unlock and lock doors.

How can one unlock the door if the batteries are dead?

When the batteries are dead, there are many ways to unlock the door. Charge the lock with USB cable and then enter the password to unlock the door, or replace the batteries outside the door, or use spare mechanical key to unlock the door.

How often do need to replace the batteries?

Hafele RE-FIT Smart Cylinder needs 4*AAA batteries to supply power. If the door is unlocked about ten times a day, the battery life can be maintained for about one year

How does the lock work after factory reset?

After restoring the factory settings, the default master code of the lock is 123456 and you need to reset the password.

How to install if I would like to order this lock?

Our Hafele RE-FIT Smart Cylinder’s installation is very easy, it can be done by yourself with 5-10 minutes, and we will provide installation video and instruction.

What is the Admin password when using it for the first time?

When using Hafele RE-FIT Smart Cylinder for the first time, the Admin password is 123456.

How to modify the user password instead of deleting all of them?
